Security and data
What information does your personal QR contain?
Learn why the code doesn't show your data directly and how the restaurant team uses it.
Your personal QR contains a signed Fudi credential. The visible value does not include your email, telephone number or public profile identifier.
When an authorized member scans it from Fudi:
- the app sends the credential to the server;
- Fudi validates that it has not been altered or revoked;
- checks member and branch access;
- shows the identity necessary for you to confirm the operation.
Scanning the QR does not record a visit on its own. The team must select a branch and confirm registration. A manipulated signature is rejected and creates no activity.
The code is stable so you can show it when you need it, but it's still personal. Do not post it or share it with people who are not involved in the operation of the restaurant.
This QR is different from the printed or dynamic codes that the restaurant displays for you to register a visit.
