Rewards and redemptions
How Reward Validity Works
It distinguishes the validity of a reward from the time available to use its redemption QR.
Article content
An issued reward remains available until it is redeemed or reaches its expiration date, if you have one assigned.
When expires:
- it stops appearing as available;
- goes to History with status Expired;
- can no longer generate a redemption QR.
Pausing a program prevents you from using its rewards, but it does not stop the passage of time. If a reward has an expiration date, that date continues to advance while the program is paused.
Validity and QR are not the same
The reward may still be available even if the displayed QR has expired. The QR only lasts about a minute to protect the account. As long as the reward is still valid, you can generate a new one.
