How distance from restaurants is calculated

Fudi uses your device's location to help you identify nearby restaurants and branches.

The catalog distance corresponds to the closest active branch of the restaurant that has available coordinates. It is calculated in a straight line between your location and that branch.

For this reason, the value may be different from the driving or walking distance displayed by a mapping app. Fudi uses this reference to sort results, not to calculate a route.

When your location is used

• The app only uses location in Explore if the service is active and you have already granted the corresponding permission.
• If the location is not available, you can continue exploring; The results are sorted by name.
• Distances less than one kilometer are shown in meters. The largest ones are shown in kilometers.

To get an actual route, open the branch and tap Location.
